Gault&Millau Goes to Tomorrowland

07.07.2017 - Editorial board

Later this month, Gault&Millau is organizing their 5th annual visit to Tomorrowland and continues the search for the most high quality festival food. Last year the festival won the Gault&Millau Culinary Innovator "Event Award" and in 2017 the stakes are as high as ever.

This Gault&Millau takeover will consist of multiple judges tasked with evaluating the 120 food stands at the festival seeking the best options in three categories : best festival food, most innovative festival food, and best healthy festival food. Award winners will compete on the basis of flavor, ingredients, and in the case of "most innovative"—presentation, service, and ambiance. Any young foodies with a love of music who might be interested in joining the Gault&Millau Pop team for the festival are encouraged to apply on Gault&Millau's website. The Pop project, a new endeavor for Gault&Millau, aims to bring together the best street food, tapas, trendy bars, and more casual gastronomy.

Those attending the festival are encouraged to revisit last year's champions and be on the lookout for past award winners among the food stands. Further, Tomorrowland has launched in preparation for this year's festival a project entitled "Tastes of the World" in which they showcase the many cultures brought together by this world-reknowned festival.
